The grid engineering requires high-altitude operations, and the general construction site environment is also more complicated. Therefore, the welding work during the installation of the grid needs to be operated in accordance with certain requirements to ensure high-quality completion of the project. Below, the editor of Jiangsu Huahai Steel Structure will introduce some points for attention in the installation and welding of grids:

(1) Personal labor protection equipment and gas masks should be worn correctly. Strictly abide by technical regulations and work in accordance with technical clarifications. The welding machine, tools and operating site should be inspected before welding.
(2) When replacing the welding rod, wear leather gloves and avoid leaning on the welding parts to prevent electric shock. Do not put the welding cable on your body or put it on your feet, and do not touch the conductive parts when the welding equipment is running.
(3) When removing welding slag and using electric arc gouging to clean roots, wear protective glasses and face shields to prevent iron slag splashing and hurting people.
(4) Check the welding machine, circuit, welding machine shell protection connection, etc. before operation, and work after confirming safety. No flammable and explosive materials shall be stacked within 10m around the welding operation site. Welding or cutting is strictly prohibited in flammable and explosive gas or liquid diffusion areas, pressure vessels and pipelines under pressure, live equipment, containers containing flammable and explosive materials, and stressed components. It is strictly prohibited to weld in the sprayed paint and plastic containers.
(5) When the welding site is wet, the welder should stand on a dry insulating board or rubber pad, and the cooperating personnel should wear insulating shoes or stand on the insulating board. The insulation of insulated shoes should be checked regularly.
(6) When welding or cutting at high altitude, safety belts must be fastened, fire prevention measures should be taken around and under welding, and special personnel should be supervised.
