The specifications of seamless steel pipes are expressed by the nominal outer diameter and wall thickness. For example, a Φ50x5 steel pipe is a seamless steel pipe with a nominal outer diameter of Φ50mm and a wall thickness of 5mm. For boiler pipes that bear a certain pressure and temperature, boiler seamless steel pipes are commonly used, and their components include carbon seamless steel pipes and alloy seamless steel pipes.
