Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport is composed of T3-C main building, T3-D, T3-E international terminal and traffic system in front of the building. The T3 main building has five floors on the ground and two underground floors. Due to the long distance between the north and south buildings of Terminal 3 (T3C and T3E), a passenger rapid transit system will be built between the two buildings to facilitate passengers. The Passenger Mover System (APM) is a fully automated passenger transportation system with unmanned driving. The MRT system adopts the design plan of Bombardier of Canada, which uses trackside and central control to transmit signals to control the operation of the vehicle. The driving route is 2080 meters long one way. There are 3 stations in T3C, T3D and T3E respectively.

The baggage system of Terminal 3 adopts the most advanced international automatic sorting and high-speed transmission system. The baggage handling system is composed of outbound, transfer, and inbound baggage handling systems, empty baggage return systems, and early baggage storage systems, covering T3C , T3D and T3E, and the corresponding area connecting T3C and T3E baggage tunnel, covers an area of about 120,000 square meters, and the total length of the system is about 70 kilometers. As long as the airline transports the baggage to the sorting port, the system only needs 4.5 minutes to transfer the baggage to the baggage claim carousel, which greatly reduces the time for passengers to wait for the baggage to be picked up.

The Transportation Center (GTC) is located in front of Terminal 3. There are two underground parking lots with a total area of 300,000 square meters. On the ground of the transportation center, there is a light rail transit station with a building area of 45,000 square meters. Housing structure.
